Nigella sativa extract is a plant extract made from the dried mature seeds of the Ranunculaceae plant Nigella sativa (such as glandular Nigella sativa and Nigella sativa) through water extraction, concentration, and spray drying. Its active ingredients include thymoquinone (1%-10%), nigella alkaloids, volatile oils (including nigella ketone and quercetin), saponins, and unsaturated fatty acids.
