What is Cellulase ?
Cellulase is a general term for a group of enzymes that can degrade cellulose to produce glucose, and is a glycoside hydrolase. It is widely present in organisms in nature, such as fungi, bacteria, actinomycetes and other microorganisms, as well as some plants and animals. In industrial production, cellulase mainly comes from fungi, such as Trichoderma and Aspergillus.
What is the function of Cellulase?
1. Regulate intestinal microecology: Cellulase is a catalytic protein. Like other types of proteins, enzyme molecules are usually composed of amino acids. Cellulase can regulate intestinal microecology, promote the proliferation of probiotics, and inhibit the reproduction of harmful bacteria.
2. Prevent constipation: Cellulase can mechanically stimulate intestinal peristalsis to prevent and treat constipation, and can effectively relieve symptoms of dry stool and difficulty in defecation caused by long-term overeating or lack of exercise.
3. Avoid obesity: Cellulase absorbs water and swells, which can increase satiety, reduce the intake of high-calorie and high-fat foods, and prevent obesity.
