What is Longan Extract?
Longan (scientific name: Dimocarpus longan Lour., alias: longan, lychee slave, sub-lychee, swallow egg) is a Sapindaceae plant and one of the four rare fruits in South China.[1] Longan is native to southern and southwestern China and has a lifespan of up to 400 years.The fruit is eaten raw or processed into dried products, and the meat, core, skin and roots can be used for medicinal purposes.The ripening period of the fruit is from July to August. The fresh fruit is yellowish brown and rich in nutrition. It has been loved by people since ancient times and is regarded as a precious tonic.
